Cyberathlete

And just when you thought I couldn't get any geekier.... I've joined up with a team competeing in the Cyberathlete Amatuer League (CAL). My team is all other guys from the gaming clan I joined (Family Gamers Alliance (FGA)). We had our first match last night and I sub'd in because another guy didn't show. The team we were playing was semi-pro. They beat us 17-3 (although the official score was 27-3 we conceded the win after 20 rounds :)). I did surprisingly well and topped my team in score even though I think the guys I was playing with are better than me. We have matches once a week on Mondays. Our roster has about 14 guys on it and each match can only field 5 so I may not get to play as much as I'd like.

I also bought some new toys in order to be able to wire RJ45 networks (AKA Ethernet cable which you use to connect your computer to other computers or the internet). I installed a jack in Mom's office and another in Dad's and it looks much nicer now. Did the same for Jessi's office. I also helped mom wire up her fancy new Ikea lights. I'm getting to be quite handy! I have to be careful though or I'll be spending all my free time doing favours for people! ;)
