Warp Speed

I realize it's been a while since I last posted up here but things have been pretty crazy around here! Well, here's an update so I can get this off my to-do list! :)

Sally (Jessi's Mom) is doing much better and is out of the hospital. Things got worse before they got better and now she's doing well and we're hoping it stays that way!

The closing date on our new house is fast approaching! We're doing pretty well keeping on top of things. We've got the phone, cable and internet services scheduled as well as the new security system. We've arranged for home insurance and are getting quotes for life insurance. Our real estate lawyer is doing the title searches and all that lawyer-y stuff. We've booked movers to come and move all our junk on September 14th at 8am. We've booked time off of work and started packing.

Phew. Putting that into a paragraph makes it seem like easy-peasy but let me tell you it wasn't! Anyways, now we're buckling done for the home-stretch and are steadily packing our lives up into nice little boxes.
