Handy

Last night Jessi and I started our continuing education courses with the TDSB (Toronto District School Board). We took courses that are on the same night at the same school so we could go together. Jessi is taking pottery. She enjoyed most of her first class and is looking forward to creating some interesting pottery.

I signed up for the handy person's course. The gist of the course is to give you enough skills to tackle most DIY household improvements. We're going to cover fasteners & adhesives, flooring & walls, electrical work, plumbing and other home stuff. It looks like it will be a really fun course and the teacher is a really interesting guy who is definately very handy. I've already been encouraged to finally go out and buy a multi-meter because of all the uses he's described for it (they're a very intimidating looking gadget!).
