On a trip to Rona to pick up a new flush handle for our downstairs toilet I picked up a few cool new gadgets. First off I picked up a remote control plug. It sits between the wall socket and anything you can plug in. The remote supposedly works up to 28 meters away but I haven't tested it. Right now we have it plugged into our christmas village (yes we have our village out already!). Now we can remotely flick on the lights from anywhere in the house! Pointless? Yes! Amazingly cool? Double yes!

The other is a modified outdoor light sensor which you can plug up to three things into. This will be for our christmas lights. I always forget to turn them off during the day!

We're both feeling a little under the weather today. I think we have the start of a cold or flu. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse! We celebrated Kristin's b-day on Saturday. The plan was to head to a local bar for some karaoke. Unfortunatley the bar was having live music night! I saved the night by grabbing our Karaoke Revolution and PS2 and everyone had a blast! Good times.
