Another whirlwind weekend has blown past! Saturday, Jessi went to the Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) conference. After that we picked up Mike and Kristin and headed out to Matt and Veronica's house in Burlington. We enjoyed an Indian feast and looked at photos of their recent wedding in Toronto and honeymoon in Maui! They went partially on our recomendation and stayed at Hale Kamaole! They had a blast and we had a great time looking at their photos and remembering the same spots.
I also brought over my dance pads and my Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) games. We spent most of the evening DDR'ing or playing Guitar Hero (which is fantastic despite my reservations). It was a very enjoyable evening but we were exhausted by the time we got home.
Sunday Jessi and I cleaned out the frige and I finally switched the door from opening on the right to the left. The originaly way meant that the door could not open fully and we couldn't access our fruit drawer. Now it swings open in all it's glory and we can load that fruit drawer full with no problems! :) The only problem is I keep trying to open the frige the wrong way!
Sunday evening we celebrated the Triple-Threat (Tony, Jessi and our cousin Sonja's birthdays are all close together so we celebrate in one big event). We ordered in pasta to Sue's (our aunt) house in Etobicoke. I had a very tasty gluten-free pasta. For dessert we had an ice-cream cake! Very Rob-friendly! :)
